ALEXANDRE TURPAULT France 1847
Since 1847, the Alexandre Turpault company has been designing, producing and distributing beautiful household linen with the utmost respect for French tradition. The quality of the materials (pure linen, fine cotton), the fineness of the decorative details (embroidery, ajours ...) and the unsurpassed quality of its plain and untreated fabrics underline the brand's excellent reputation. This savoir-faire, which is scarce today, stems from the greatest French tradition of the trousseau [wedding set-up] and the decorative crafts and was preserved and enriched over time.
Alexandre Turpault has been one of the major players in the luxury market for years. He was already rewarded at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1878 and 1889 and received a silver and gold medal for the quality of his fabric and for his active commitment to imported fabrics.
In the early 1930s he dressed the tables of the famous "Normandie" steamboat with beautiful damask tablecloths.
A very French style, timeless chic, both simple and sophisticated, urban and authentic. A naturally luxurious appearance that will never tire you.
